Lamar MBA is a 36 hours program, (24 hours core and 12 hours in a concentration). If you do not have an undergraduate business degree there is an additional 18 hours of leveling courses. Applicants to LU’s MBA program must have an undergraduate degree, minimum GMAT score of 450 (950 total= GPA x 200 +GMAT), and GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. $25 application fee or $75 for international students. Scholarships available if following criteria is met: GPA X 200 + GMAT = 1150. International students whose first language is not English must submit a TOEFL score of 525 pbt or 197 cbt. Applications for domestic students must be received at least 30 days before registration. Applications for international students must be received by January 15 for summer entry, April 15 for fall, and September 1 for the following spring. The MBA program offers a new Bridge/MBA Program. This program is designed to meet the needs of international students whose baccalaureate degrees were completed in three years (the equivalent of fewer than 120 semester credit hours) rather than four years. This program allows you to complete your fourth year of undergraduate coursework and obtain admission to the MBA program.
