The MBA Program in the Rawls College of Business offers the opportunity to take an active role in tailoring your education according to your interests and career goals. Our current rolling admission policy allows you to enroll in the fall, spring, or summer semesters. Our students have the option of obtaining a general MBA degree, concentrating in a specialized area of business or gaining an MBA along with one of our six dual-degree joint programs. This grants students the flexibility to tailor programs to meet their specific needs, whether it is information technology, starting their own company, or joining a consulting firm. A qualified student with a bachelor’s degree regardless of the discipline may complete the program in sixteen months as a full-time student or in three years on a part-time basis. The MBA program begins with a mandatory two-day orientation which is held two days prior to the start of classes. Formal coursework includes fifteen hours of tool courses preparing the student for the eighteen hours of core courses to follow. Twelve hours of electives and a three-hour capstone course complete the integrated program. Each year we give 50 new scholarships worth $3000 to incoming students. Each scholarship qualifies its recipient to the same low in-state tuition rate enjoyed by Texas residents.
