The Graduate School of Business MBA is designed for experienced professionals who wish to develop their managerial skills in order to effectively operate in an increasingly competitive and evolving global business environment. Our program is designed for those who are qualified in a specialist field and who wish to develop their business acumen and business skills. MBA students develop a portfolio of key management competencies that range from strategic analysis and decision making skills through to an appreciation of global business challenges, complemented by human resources, financial, marketing and system analysis skills. The MBA program comprises 12 subjects consisting of 9 compulsory units along with 3 electives or research papers which allow students to focus on individual development needs and advance their future career. The MBA Advanced is open to those students who have satisfactorily completed the program requirements of the MBA and wish to take an additional 4 subjects of specialisation which is noted on their degree testamur. Students may specialise in a broad range of discipline areas including as appropriate the chance to take electives in other faculties.
