Danube University Krems appoints five new deans
The new faculty structure came into effect at the beginning of this year.

Five deans have assumed their posts at the newly established faculties at Danube University Krems. They will combine the existing competences in education and research across specialities and by way of creating synergies. The Rector Univ.-Prof. Dr. Jürgen Willer who appointed the deans regards this development as an important prerequisite for Danube University Krems being able to consolidate and enhance its leading position as a provider of advanced university education.
The following people were nominated: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Stefan Nehrer as Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medicine; Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gudrun Biffl as Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Globalization; Mag. Dr. Walter Seböck, MSc, MBA as Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law; Univ.-Prof. Dr. Peter Baumgartner as Dean of the Faculty of Education and Media; and Arch. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Renate Hammer, MAS as Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Culture and Building. The new university structure is aims to create a stronger profile in the above mentioned fields.
