MBA Global Industrial Enterprises
Alma Graduate School
Università di Bologna

The MBA Global Industrial Enterprises is a challenging, intensive 12-month full-time international program taught entirely in English.
The aim of this MBA is to give participants the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of industrial processes, both in the area of innovation and along the value chain. They will also develop knowledge about B2B markets, improving their management skills in the key areas of industrial enterprises: resources, processes, and organization.
The curriculum of the MBA Global Industrial Enterprises is divided into two main parts: General Management (MBA core courses) and a Global Industrial Enterprises concentration, designed to provide an opportunity for specialization and in-depth focus on B2B markets.
Alma Graduate School, together with leading companies and managers of the sector, will provide participants with a first-hand full immersion in the fine mechanics world. Open discussions and meetings with professionals from the sector will also give students an opportunity to discuss specific issues, and learn from actual testimonies and experiences of the real business world. Students will also achieve a considerable first-hand experience by participating in extracurricular activities, such as: field trips, in-company day visits, and more.
Other program features are: internships, career development activities, and Business English classes. Intensive Italian lessons are offered free of charge to international participants who wish to improve their language skills during their stay in Italy. Italian classes are scheduled in September 2011, prior to the beginning of the MBA activities.Internship and Career
Creating employability is one of the primary goals of the MBA Global Industrial Enterprise program. Therefore, interaction between theory and practice is an essential part of the curriculum: master lectures, testimonials, analysis of business cases, and in-company visits will take place throughout the year and will go side by side the core academic courses.
The program also includes a 400-hour internship scheduled in the last period of the program (June - September 2012). Internships will take place at some of the leading companies of the fine mechanics sector. The internship represents an opportunity for MBA participants to analyze real company problems, develop strategies, and elaborate action plans together with upper level managers.
Alma's partners have been involved in our academic activities over the years in many different ways: participating in project works, master lectures, and testimonials, offering scholarships, hosting our student internships, or employing our alumni.
