The Master of Business Administration and Engineering at the HTW Berlin combines solid management skills and competency in applying technology as a business tool into a well-balanced curriculum. The objective is to provide an innovative alternative to the traditional MBA degree. The course is taught 100% in English in a very international environment. A dedicated program office supports applicants, students and alumni in all study-related and academic matters.
The MBA&E is also your ticket to a career in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) - one of the fastest growing industries globally. We are one of the very first programs worldwide to provide education in BPO. While providing a clear industry focus, the BPO related skills are also well applicable outside the field.
Another focus of the program is international teamwork. You will be solving business problems in project exercises in guided student teams. Over 80% of the students are international with nationalities evenly spread across the globe - no single nationality is dominating the group. The MBA&E provides you with a challenging, yet friendly environment to learn business skills that are vital regardless of your choice of career.
To support the studies with practical experiences, the program offers an excursion plan (no additional expenses to the students) throughout the two semesters of studies, including visits to renowned companies in Germany and/or abroad. In addition, the students get to visit large German trade fairs and listen to guest speakers from partner companies and institutions.
The MBA&E is a small and dynamic program backed up by the resources and facilities of the FHTW Berlin - a university of close to 10.000 students.
